Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving a global technological revolution and transforming industries at an unprecedented pace. Its integration into metallurgy and materials science is unlocking new opportunities for theoretical advancements, technological breakthroughs, and the transition of manufacturing towards high-end, intelligent, and sustainable practices.
To foster international collaboration and accelerate the adoption of AI in metallurgy and materials science, the 4th International Forum on "AI+ Metallurgy & Materials" will take place from July 17 to 19, 2025, in Shenyang, Liaoning, China. Co-hosted by the National New Materials Big Data Innovation Alliance and the Liaoning Academy of Materials, the forum will serve as a platform for scientists, engineers, industry leaders and policymakers to engage in in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange.
In parallel with the forum, 2025 Editorial Board Meeting of Materials Genome Engineering Advances (MGE Advances) will take place, highlighting the journal’s achievements and impact in the field.
